Such thin margins.

Now we’ve got a mountain to climb.

Still 0~0 after 7 minutes. It’s difficult to see how they are so many league positions apart, at this early stage of the game.

Top of the table Spartans away today.

Let’s put in a stoic performance.

This will be an interesting game today, Spartans is the league position, that the COO should be looking at this time next year.

Fair play to Donald there.

Suggesting the 20% supporters club buy in is a great progressive idea.

sometimes I wonder if he's looked too keenly at the attire of Richard Branson, and taken a bit too much inspiration from it, but on the footballing side, in DONALD we trust.

Interesting read from the chairman about the difficulties of sustaining a club of the magnitude of Cowdenbeath F.C. in the lower leagues ahead of the Supporters annual meeting next Monday

From the pie and bovril site:

"Player of the year event will be held at the junction after the last home game on the 22nd. Players and staff will be in attendance we also have live entertainment and buffet. tickets cost £10" etcetc

It’s good to see some traction, but I still love it that the COO are doing this all in their own time.

With so much interest it’ll be awhile before the wheat can be separated from the chaff.

Cowdenbeath 1-2 Civil Service Strollers

Civil Service Strollers did the league double over Cowdenbeath, winning at Central Park by the same scoreline as at Christie Gillies Park.

After a goalless first half, the visitors took the lead in 58th minute when Robbie Cole's deflected shot beat Danny Farrell.

Harry Girdwood made it 2-0 in the 69th minute, finishing high into the net after Farrell had saved his first effort.

Substitute Mackenzie Williamson pulled one back on 79 with his first Blue Brazil goal but it was too little too late and Gary Jardine's side held on for the three points.

TEAM : Farrell, Walker, Newman, Davidson, Young, Ritchie (Black), Cunningham (Williamson), Berry, Watt, Garrad, Murray (Sinclair)

NEXT UP : We travel to Ainslie Park to take on The Spartans on Saturday 15th April.

If West Ham could score 6 goals in a single month, let alone a single match, that would be this season's high spot,

Re: The Official Cowdenbeath 2022-23 Season Thread - Scottish Lowland Football League
Dalbeattie Star 0-6 Cowdenbeath

Cowdenbeath picked up their biggest win of the season with six different scorers helping them to a comfortable win.

The visitors took the lead in the 13th minute when Dean Ritchie smashed the ball into the net following a scramble in the box. And two minutes later it was 2-0 as Mikey Cunningham converted Sam Newman's low cross from the left.

On loan defender Sam Young headed in his first for the club on the half hour mark before Dan Watt added a fourth five minutes before the break.

Callum Murray danced the ball into the net in the 57th minute for his first Blue Brazil goal with Jack Garrad getting involved with the scoring just after the hour mark, sweeping in Newman's cross.

Colin Jack's side had chances to add to the scoreline but had to settle for six goals, a clean sheet and three points.

TEAM : Farrell, Walker, Newman (Lemon), Davidson (Armstrong), Young, Ritchie, Cunningham (Williamson), Berry, Watt (Slaven), Garrad, Murray

SUBS NOT USED : Robinson, Ruddy, Struthers

NEXT UP : We welcome Civil Service Strollers to Central Park on Saturday 8th April.
